| About / Additional Info: | The City of Molalla operates as a city manager form of government under authority of a city charter. The City Council consists of a Mayor and six Councilors nominated and elected from the City at-large. The Mayor serves as the political head of the City. Mayor and Councilors all serve four-year terms. Terms of office for the Mayor and Councilors are limited to eight consecutive years. Appointed officers of the City include the City Manager, City Attorney, and the Municipal Court Judge. The City Manager appoints and supervises all other city employees. |
