Special Access:The Fourth Avenue entrance to the Multnomah County Courthouse has several steps. Individuals with mobility impairments may use the entrance on SW 5th Avenue at SW Salmon Street, by pressing the wheelchair button at the right side of the doors, signaling security staff of your request to enter. This entrance has a ramp to the first floor, and Sheriff’s Office personnel will respond to assist you with getting into the building. Other facilities: The East County Courthouse, Justice Center, and Juvenile Justice Centers were built to be compliant with state and federal law on accessibility. Individuals with mobility impairments should find these buildings fully accessible.
